Children in Australia

Children go to school starting at about the age of five years.

The school day will start anywhere from 8:00 am to 9:00 am with the days ending around 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.

When children are finished with their school day, many older children will participate in sports or other extra-curricular activities.

Kids will usually get a two week break when terms are over for school.

They will also have a six week break during the winter holiday season.
